Garrick joined 2CL in 2000, bringing extensive financial and leadership experience across local government, private sector, UK plc, and US multinationals. Since becoming CEO in 2016, he has guided the company to major milestones, including being named Motorola’s top UK two-way radio dealer in 2018, while ensuring exceptional service delivery. He remains focused on driving innovation and growth across all areas of the business.

Mike joined 2CL in 2005 following the acquisition of his business, Showlite Communications, bringing over 25 years of expertise in managing short-term hire radio communications for major events. He has delivered successful projects for high-profile clients including the London Marathon, Glastonbury Festival, and Festival Republic. As a Director of 2CL, Mike plays a key role in shaping the company’s event hire strategy and operations.

Ian began his career in the Private Mobile Radio industry in 1994 and joined 2CL in 1996 as a Field Service Engineer. After serving as Technical & Training Manager at Motorola distributor Radiotrade Ltd, he returned to 2CL in 2016 as Technical Sales Manager. Ian now leads on complex technical sales enquiries and bids, while also providing expert support to the wider sales team. His deep technical knowledge and industry experience play a vital role in delivering tailored communication solutions to clients.

James joined 2CL in 2024, bringing over a decade of strategic marketing experience across science, technology, and engineering sectors. A former Chartered Engineer, James has previously been involved in the radio domain working on satnav systems for 2G/3G phones and product launches for electronic warfare equipment used by the British Army. He has held senior marketing roles at world-renowned organisations including Harris Computer, Dstl, Chemring Group, and Siemens.

Chloe joined 2CL in 2022 as a Sales Executive and quickly progressed to Client Services Manager. With a background in sales team management and office administration, she has a well-rounded skill set that helps boost client relationships and keeps things running smoothly across the company. Chloe’s comprehensive understanding of customer needs makes her a contributor to 2CL’s continued success.

Josh, originally from Australia, has over 12 years of experience at the intersection of major infrastructure projects, events, venues, and technology. He has worked with leading global events, rights holders, and tech suppliers to deliver strategies that enhance operations and drive commercial value. At 2CL, Josh leads internal and external strategic initiatives, manages key business relationships, and drives innovation and operational improvement across the company.

Jack joined 2CL in 2018 and was appointed Director of Business Development in 2025. With a strong background in client relationship management and commercial growth, he is responsible for expanding 2CL’s presence into new markets, developing key accounts, and introducing innovative ideas to the business. Prior to 2CL, Jack held business development and leadership roles in recruitment and sales, managing high-performing teams and delivering strategic talent solutions to the construction sector. His drive, customer-first approach, and deep industry knowledge make him a key contributor to 2CL’s continued success and growth.

 

Dave Pearce

Service Manager

 

Joining 2CL in 2016 as a Field Service Engineer, Dave has installed and supported communication systems for both sales and hire operations, working on major events including Glastonbury Festival, the London Marathon, and serving as Lead Radio Engineer at the Glasgow 2018 European Athletics Championships. In January 2024, he became Service Manager, overseeing the delivery of technical support and system maintenance. He previously worked as a Customer Service Engineer for a leading company in wireless video and audio technologies, supporting military, law enforcement, and broadcast clients. His technical expertise and event experience ensure the highest standards of service for 2CL’s customers.
