Two-Way Radios for Schools and Education
With the Government constantly pressing schools, colleges and universities to enhance student safety and increase staff efficiency, consider two-way radios for use in education as an ideal way to improve safety, teamwork and efficiency.
They can help establishments to create a safe learning environment for more productive learning and provide secure and reliable systems for on-site communication, however large the facility is.
Effective two-way radio communication can help boost productivity and cut costs with real-time mobile connectivity. When you need to communicate quickly and easily with all school personnel, individually, in groups or all at once, the best way is over a digital two-way radio. At the touch of a button, you can securely link multiple teams across single or multiple facilities. Using two-way radios as your preferred solution ensures that staff can respond rapidly and work efficiently. With durable devices and using site-specific design solutions from the team here at 2CL, you will have access to technology that will meet all your needs.
With our extensive knowledge of the education sector and access to digital and analogue radio equipment, coupled with our system design experience, we understand the importance of keeping students and staff safe throughout the campus.
Ranging from license-free technology to larger, wide-area systems, we have the experience to cater to your exact requirements.
Digital Two-Way Radios for Schools
Many digital two-way radios have GPS functionality along with Man Down and remote worker capability. This provides additional peace of mind for all radio users, their colleagues and students throughout the grounds. The health and safety of all employees is of course taken into consideration during the system design process, including all relevant accessories that will ensure the safety and security of staff whilst using the two-way radio system.
University Radio Solutions
University of Greenwich
The University of Greenwich Digital Radio System utilises their Motorola MOTOTRBO DR3000 UHF Repeaters and antenna combining equipment, to provide radio communications across the entire campus for several different departments all using the system. The crystal clear communications enable all users to operate safely and are currently using a Lone Worker system to monitor the maintenance and security staff, sending emergency messages to designated users who carry DP4800 Display Radios.
University of Exter
Exeter University was one of the first TRBOnet (control centre) Dispatcher Systems installed by 2CL, they are using the in-built GPS receivers in their DP3601 Portable Radios, to carry out radio tracking and Lone Worker Monitoring. The radio will periodically send its position data to the TRBOnet Dispatcher System, which can provide real-time location details of the radio users, and in the case of an emergency, highlight the triggering radio enabling a crucial time-saving response.
